There are hundreds upon thousands of self-help books out there designed to help people feel good. They give you advice to change the way you act and the way you think about life. But, ultimately, they usually ignore one important factor; science. Unfortunately, feeling good isn’t just about the things you change about your personality; there’s a much more physical side which must be considered. Too few people actually think about this. And, that’s a shame because it makes people feel bad. So, to help you out, this post will be sharing some scientifically accurate ways to make yourself feel good. Now, you just have to get to work.
All of the emotions and sensations we feel are simply chemical reactions in the brain. For example, endorphins and dopamine make people feel happy when they’re released by receptors in the brain. When something makes you feel happy, these chemicals are used to create the feelings you feel. And, this applies to all emotions and feelings. Of course, this makes it possible for your emotions to be triggered by chemicals. But, this is unnatural, and will often result in loss of those feelings naturally. So, it’s best to make yourself feel good in other ways.
Your body will never feel as if it has the right balance when you’re not getting enough sleep. Scientists only have a few strong theories as to why humans need sleep. But, we do know that we need it. Without it, your body won’t produce all of the chemicals it needs to be healthy. It won’t be able to process your food correctly, leaving you without nutrients and minerals you desperately need. It’s recommended that most people need at least seven hours of sleep a night. But, with more, you will feel even better.
As mentioned above, chemicals can often be used to make yourself feel different. And, this isn’t necessarily a good thing. But, in a lot of cases, it isn’t a bad thing at all; you just have to do some research. Health experts have made loads of progress with IV nutrition therapy. This sort of treatment uses an IV to pump minerals and nutrients directly into your blood. They are designed to skip the digestion process; giving you an instant boost. Of course, you have to do plenty of research to make sure the options you choose are worth it.
Last, on this list comes something that most people struggle with; exercise. This part of life is essential; if you want to feel at your best. You may not notice it; but, without exercise, most people will feel tired and won’t have much energy. Our bodies rely on work to stay healthy. Without it, your heart will be weak and unable to support any sustained activity. This is a bad way to live; if you want to live for a long time.
Hopefully, this will inspire you to start working harder to feel good. Food plays a large part in this, as well; with most people getting grumpy without it. So, it’s worth considering that, too. But, with this, you should have everything you need.
